Unique wildfowling opportunity on offer with BASC Scotland

Young shots and their parents will be able to take part in a unique wildfowling experience in Scotland next month.

The BASC Young Shots and Parent/Guardian Wildfowling Course will take place on 16 January at Maidland Farm in Wigtown, in association with the Wigtown Bay Wildfowling Club.

The young shots and their parents/guardians will have the opportunity to learn about decoying, quarry identification, gun safety and participate in an evening flight. The course costs £80 per pair and both parties must have a valid shotgun certificate.

BASC Scotland’s training and events officer, Donald Muir, said: “In the past, the parents and guardians of our young shot members have shown a great interest in participating in our Young Shots wildfowling events so this is the perfect opportunity for them to learn about and take part in wildfowling with the youngsters.”
