Tuck into tasty game in Northern Ireland.

Food lovers in Northern Ireland will have a chance to enjoy a taste of game at a number of Game’s On events in the coming weeks.

The British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC) has been promoting game as a healthy, sustainable and highly nutritious food source since the mid 1960s.
BASC’s game marketing initiative, Game’s On, was launched in 2005 and has since created a first class website and distributed more than 150,000 high quality recipe leaflets through a network of game fairs and game tasting events and through game dealers and their customers.

The Wildfowler Inn, Greyabbey, County Down, will host a Taste of Game evening on 3rd February.  For details phone 028 4278 8234. A similar event on 28th January has sold out. The Cuan, in Strangford, will hold a wild game night on 6th February. To book, phone  028 4488 1222.
