Young people in Northern Ireland will be able to experience country sports in Scotland for only £30 this summer.
BASC Northern Ireland has organised a Young Shots excursion to Wigtown on Saturday 22 August where youngsters can try clay pigeon shooting, air rifle shooting, fly casting as well as getting important safety instruction and shotgun tuition from expert coaches. The activities are being hosted by the Wigtown Bay Wildfowlers.
The excursion costs £30 and includes one year’s junior BASC membership, ferry travel, coach transfer, cartridges, clays and lunch. Cost for accompanying adults is £50 (ferry, coach transfer and lunch).
Ferry travel will be with P&O Irish Sea on the Larne to Cairnryan route. Children under the age of 12 should be accompanied by an adult.
