Two Young Shots days will be held in the South East of England this Summer.
They will be held at Plumpton, near Lewes, East Sussex, on 26th July and in Oxfordshire on 2nd August. Activities at the Plumpton event will include shotgun and air rifle lessons with BASC-accredited coaches, gundog and foxhound demonstrations, fly casting tuition and falconry.
The Oxfordshire event will include shotgun coaching and air rifle tuition with other activities to be announced.
The events are open to young people aged between eight and 17-years-old and will run from 9am until 4.30pm.
Justin Clarke, BASC’s South East regional officer, said: "We have a range of country sports planned for each of these events and they both promise to be good days. It is important to encourage the next generation to enjoy the countryside and all it has to offer."
Places are £20 per child for the Lewes event and £25 per child for the Oxfordshire event. Booking forms can be downloaded from the BASC website or requested from the BASC South East office on 01306 631378.
