BASC has seen a record number of people joining the association in September.
More than two thousand new members joined BASC last month which is the highest number of memberships taken during the month of September for at least ten years.
BASC’s head of marketing, David Ilsley, said: “We thought it was going to be a good month after we had such a busy time at the Midland Game Fair and from that point onwards it just did not stop. Although September is always one of our busiest months, we had a massive surge in new membership applications in the second half of the month which took us to a record-breaking total.”
“Thanks to the support of our growing membership BASC is able to continue its vital work to keep shooting safe for future generations. We are very grateful for their loyal support.”
