Huw Irranca-Davies MP will officially launch the Wildlife Habitat Trust’s (WHT) 2014 Wildlife Habitat Conservation Stamp at this year’s CLA Game Fair.
The stamp features artwork entitled Golden Plover on the Ribble Estuary by John Davis. The stamp will be launched on Friday 18th July at 11.30am in the WHT area of the BASC stand at the fair which will be hosted at Blenheim Palace from 18th – 20th July.
Visitors to the WHT stand will have the opportunity to purchase stamps, badges and limited edition prints. Funds raised will be used to protect land for shooting and conservation.
An art exhibition will also be on the BASC stand providing the opportunity for visitors to enjoy and purchase original artwork by John Davis and Julian Novorol, a previous WHT stamp artist.
The stamp launch will be sponsored by Tanners Wines of Shrewsbury.
