BASC has appointed a new regional director for the North of England.
Alasdair Mitchell took over the role on Monday (May 28th).
Alasdair has been a BASC member for 35 years and is a keen wildfowler and deerstalker.
He owns a hill farm in Northumberland and is a writer and freelance journalist with public relations experience who writes a weekly column in Shooting Times.
He said: “I am now setting up a new office for the Northern region and I’m looking forward to helping members of the shooting community, many of whom I’ve met over the years. BASC has a strong presence in the North of England and I hope to be able to build on the grassroots support in the area.”
Alasdair will be supported by BASC’s Northern regional officer Chris Jenkins.
