Introduction to wildfowling in Grimsby.

People interesting in wildfowling can attend an introductory event hosted by the UK’s largest shooting organisation, the British Association for Shooting and Conservation (BASC).

BASC will run the event, in conjunction with the North Lincolnshire Wildfowlers’ Association, near Humberston, Grimsby on 16th October.

The event, which is open to adults and accompanied young shots, will explore all aspects of coastal wildfowling including quarry identification, field craft, equipment, hide building, decoying, safety on the marsh – including understanding tides and moon phases, and will culminate with an accompanied evening flight on the wildfowlers’ association’s marsh where attendees can try to put the theory into practice.

The day costs £60 for adults and £40 for accompanying young shots. To book your place contact Steve Woodhall on 01539 564400 or email steven.woodhall@0ld.basc.org.uk
